How do I get my Download button? It is gone.

I've attached an image of the problem.

This hasn't happened to me before. I have a product available for download after purchasing. The problem here is that it says "To download your files click the download button and choose "Save to Disk" from the popup menu." and there's no download button. I checked my file in the attributes and it has the green dot indicating that it can be found. What could be my problem?

What permissions do you have for your /pub/ folder?

What permission do you have on your /downloads/ folder?

Although probably not a *cause* of the problem, your screenshot is indicating that the size of this file is only 152bytes. The just happens to be the size of a zip file that is created when zipping a file with a single character filename with no content (IOW, an empty or unreadable file). Coincidence? Probably not.

Well, I put a blank text file in it. I tried this again with a test.zip file with a bit more content in it and I got the same problem. (I thought the problem might have been numbers in the file name.)

OK, but where the heck did you get a 705 permission idea from? This is never a useful setting for any purpose.

This folder needs to be writable by the web server, depending on the server this will need to be 755, 775 or 777 (777 will cause some servers to produce an error).

You are showing 0 Remaining on the Downloads ... based on the image you are displaying ...

What happens if you update the order so that there are Downloads available?

Does the 0 Remaining start from the beginning of the Order being placed? Or, is that just because you have already tried to Download beyong the Download attempts on this order?

If you check the Attribute for the Download, does the number of Remaining show as higher than 0 for this Download?

OK, but where the heck did you get a 705 permission idea from? This is never a useful setting for any purpose.

I know, it's bizarre. It's what happened after the install. Well, I changed it to 755, so that makes more sense.

ANYWAY, THE ISSUE IS SOLVED

What happened is I had 0 as my max downloads for some reason. I think I left the field blank hoping it would give limitless downloads.

Is it possible to bypass the whole "NOTE: Downloads are not available until payment has been confirmed" matter that comes up every time a download is purchased?

Payment confirmation should be automatic when paid and confirmed
