    Default Current Date in Header?

    Is there a simple way of displaying the current date on my website, e.g. somewhere on the header of footer. thanks

    Yes,

    in your tpl_footer or tpl_header file you would add something like this
    <?php
    echo date('l jS \of F Y');
    ?>

    which would give you

    Friday 25 of May 2012
