Top Navigation Bar not showing even with cat tabs enabled

Yes, I hand-built some top-level categories in the "4 Columns" cell. I just changed the demo text and link to my category.

If you build only 10 top level categories then place the others into them, you will be changing more over to subcategories?

The 4 Column example has 20 links. It would be twice as large if you went for all 45 of your top level categories, but still might work?

You should probably pop up a zencart on a subfolder or somewhere and practice. I do this alot now and for that purpose find that a Quick Install of ZC 1.5 from my cPanel does fine.

EDIT: I assume that you still plan on using the regular side-box categories in conjunction with the drop down.

Setting my 45 top categories under 10 new top level categories is fine, but I'm just not sure how that will work for the twice yearly catalog update that we do through easy populate?
Currently I simply upload the csv file of the catalog and the category structure is that used on the csv. But I don't want to have to manually change all our 13000 products on this so that they sit in the new top level category structure?
I guess we will have to test it and see how manually building the top nav with 10 top level categories will affect the upload through easy populate and whether i have to amend the csv.
I also tried contacting G Maury who wrote the article about mega menu but he said he is not an ecomerce store builder and i ould need to speak to a coder

Hi SPH

We have installed the abbington mega on our test site but the top nav bar doesn't really work for us with so many categories under 1 tab

We are going to have to recode the top nav bar and set some new 8 top level categories. Can you give any advice or help as to how we need to change the code on this and which files we need to change, I have a coder who works on our site but he is not sure how to do this.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
