Deprecated function in query_factory.php crashed store and admin. How to fix?

Hi, I have very limited knowledge of .php but I'm getting this error after having made no changes to my store or settings. I've searched the forums and google but can't find a definite match to this, please let me know if you have any ideas or recall a similar problem.

The issue has caused the shop page to go blank and I cannot login to the admin. Thank you!

Your host has recently updated their version of PHP and you are running an old version of zencart (or an old module).

You need to upgrade.
