Add a comment section to each product?

I hope I can be clear about this. I lost my contractor, so I'm sort of winging it until I find someone else.

As things are now, people have to use the comment section at checkout, to tell me specifics about their dog, etc. However, I have found that by the time they get to the checkout part, they forget to add the additional info in the comment section.

Is there any way for me to add a comment section to each product page? The customer would use the drop-downs for color, sizing, etc. but then could use the comment section to add the additional info needed for that product.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!

Make an option name like "About Your Dog", set to "text" type, then go back and edit it and you will be able to set the size of comment box to use. There is nothing to do in Option Values Manager for this type.
Then add the attribute to your products as usual, making the "Attribute Required for Text" if desired.
