I am unable to turn on my html editor from admin panel

Hello all Zenners! I have been searching for a solution to this and after many hours have decided to post...

All is going well with my Zen Cart V5 implementation BUT I now want to add a WYSIWYG editor to my product description page in the admin panel.

According to other threads I must switch this on via admin/configuration/My Store/ HTML editor. Problem is the only option I have available from the right dropdown menu is PLAIN TEXT. (Pls see attached screenshot)

Am I missing something or can any of you clever folks guide me into the right direction
