Hello,
all in the title ... I'd like to know in which file I can find my customer's account passwords ... cause the "forgot your password?" button seems not to work most of the time ... I'm going to solve this but meanwhile I'd like to change the passwords manually if needed.

Passwords are encrypted. The only built-in facility for changing them is via the Change Password option in the customer's own control-panel, or the Forgotten Password feature.
You CANNOT just edit the database contents, because of the encryption.
If the Forgotten Password emails aren't arriving, then they're probably being blocked by spam filters. That's the best place to start looking.
