Category landing page for a manufacturer

At the moment, when a manufacturer is chosen from the manufacturers sidebox, you end up with a list of all products from that manufacturer.

Is there a way to show just all the categories related to the manufacturer instead of a list of all the items?

For example, I have categories tree structured like:

-> Microwaves
    ->> Panasonic
    ->> Sanyo
    ->> Hitachi
    ->> Samsung
-> Fridge
    ->> Panasonic
    ->> Sanyo
    ->> Hitachi
    ->> Samsung
-> Flatscreen TV
    ->> Samsung
          ->>> Series 4 TV
          ->>> Series 5 TV
          ->>> Series 6 TV
    ->> Panasonic
    ->> Toshiba

So what I want when someone clicks on the Samsung manufacturer in the manufacturer sidebox is to show the category icons of:

->Microwave->Samsung
->Fridge->Samsung
->Flatscreen TV->Samsung-> Series 4 TV
->Flatscreen TV->Samsung-> Series 5 TV
->Flatscreen TV->Samsung-> Series 6 TV

I see there's already a filtered list of categories at the top of the manufacturer's product list. Is there a way to show that filtered list as icons?
