Default AddOns - "Product Filter by Attribute and price range"

    Hello there,

I looked through the Forum and couldn't find a thread devoted to the add ons "Product Filter by Attribute and price range" by Johnny Ye (see http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=760 ).

I installed the module (see http://www.elitebralingerie.com). In general, it works OK but there are at least two things which makes it not perfect.

    1) One attribute appears in the right order - ascending. HOWEVER, another attribute appears in a "broken" order. It starts to descend from somewhere in the middle, then breaks the order and starts from another place to descends, then start to ascend etc. Only the last two thirds of this attribute appears in the correct ascending order. Genereally speaking, it is still OK - the customer can find the right size after searching all possibilities. BUT it is not perfect. Somewhere in the programs, there is a "bug". I looked through all of them but couldn't find the right place to fix.
Also note that this attribute has the correct default order in "Option Values". This question is first of all to Johnny Ye. Do someone had a similar problem, and how was it fixed?

    2) After the filtering procedure, the result appears in TOO wide format because it starts with "TABLE_HEADING_MANUFACTURER" and "TABLE_HEADING_MODEL" which takes A LOT of space, following by "Item Name" and "TABLE_HEADING_PRICE".
The right-hand column is pushed aside. So, it looks not nice. I assume I should change definition in the "serch results" file?
Did someone have a similar problem?

    Thanks in advance.

In addition, to the problems above - after the filtering is done, the image does not appear. It appears "No Picture Available". The pictures do exist and appear while choosing a particular product BUT do not appear in the filter results. This is already a serious problem.

Can someone help to resolve the problem?

Without the image customers walk away.

I solved the first two problems by myself. So, the filter results appears inside the middle part. They do not push aside the right-hand column.
If someone wants to know how - let me know.

Now I am working on the image appearence.

I solved these two problems by myself. If someone has the same problems - let me know, I will give the explanations.

Now I am working on the image problem.

Could you please share what you did to get it to work like on your site?

I can probably figure out the image thing, give me a couple of days to find time to work on it, I will post my results back.

    Thanks!!

First of all, see the thread http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79013 . A lot of information. To add image, model etc, you need to make small changes.

In the file header_php.php in the line
    $listing_sql .= "p.products_id, pd.products_name, p.products_price, p.products_tax_class_id, p.products_price_sorter, p.products_qty_box_status ";

add p.products_image, at any place in the middle. I also added p.products_model, to display the model.

Many other issues, you can find in the thread above.

    Good luck.

You can change all of the folders names 'TEMPLATE' to your current using template name.
And then upload the includes folder to overwrite your existing folders. Before that ,must do backup .
