Negative Stock : not stopping at zero ?

Dears,

a funny thing :
if I have 5 books in stock and one customer buy the 5, then everything is ok, the count is zero and the book is marked out of stock ...
but if I have 5 books , a customer can buy 7, and then I have -2 books in stock ... ???
how can I remedy this ?

In your admin, check that "Allow Checkout " is set to false.

Basically, with ZC, you can allow customers to still buy items even if they are out of stock. This is useful if you are eg awaiting a delivery. But if you set the "allow checkout" to false, then customers can only buy items which are in stock.

I just experienced the same issue -- but my "Allow Checkout" is already set to false. What else could be happening? I'm using 1.3.9h and I have Stock by Attributes installed.
