Default Give up! Cannot send email out!! Please help ~~~~

This is killing me...Searched and worked on it for two days but still cannot get it working.....
I now use a Gmail to test the zen cart email....
When i send email to test, this keeps appearing on the top...

ERROR: Failed sending email to: "huhih huihiuh" with subject: "vvevvevev" SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
ERROR: Failed sending email to: "xx" <[email protected]> with subject: "vvevvevev" SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
Notice: Email sent to: All Customers (2)

I already set up the email on the DreamMail client and it works well, so i think there must be something else is wrong.

The screenshot is how i set in the email options, can any one check this? Is something wrong that i set?

Please click here see the screenshot: http://goo.gl/BgwrB

If you need to see something else i will provide currently i don't know what i can show.

I would set up an email account on your host & use their email settings.
    Example: [email protected]
Click on options & get your hosts mail settings & then reconfigure zencart to use those settings.
Be aware that most hosting company require authentication for smtp.
Try that & see if that works.

Agreed. First use a real email account belonging to your store's domain name, instead of gmail.

At the very top change email transport method to php.
then at the bottom change smtp email mail host to smtp.yourdomain.com
change the email server host to the port specified by your hosting company usually 25 & update your password

"Google Apps email" is STILL gmail.
And, to use gmail requires that your server supports communication over TLS/SSL ... and if your particular webserver can't offer that, then your email thru gmail/google will NOT work.

Instead, using your website's hosting company server for sending email would be your better choice. To do that, create an email mailbox in your hosting profile, and take the email address and password and put them into your SMTPAUTH settings in your Zen Cart, along with port 25 and set the SMTP host name to be your webserver address (ie: your store's domain name). Your store will then be able to send emails via that mailbox.
Your google-apps-mail will still be the place where incoming mail is received if people reply.

Or, you can continue trying to make google-apps-mail work with your store, but you will have to engage your hosting company for all future support of email in that context. The setup for that is outlined in the links I gave you earlier.
