Hypothetical setup:
Category: Food
sub-category: Fruit
products: Apples, Pears, Oranges
sub-category: Dairy
products: Milk, Eggs, Cheese
sub-category: Meat
products: pork, beef, poultry
Category: Vehicles
sub-category: Domestic
products: Ford, Chevrolet, Saturn
sub-category: Foreign
products: Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen
Okay, I want a 10% off coupon for "Food" products ONLY.
I set up the coupon. (10PERCENTFOOD)
I now add the following restrictions on the coupon:
Category: TOP, DENY
Category: FOOD, ALLOW
Category: VEHICLES, DENY
Okay, now on my customer's main page, they click the link, "Discount Coupons" from within the "Information" box.
They look up the "10PERCENTFOOD" coupon, and this is what it says:
Code:
Discount Coupon Restrictions
Category Restrictions:
Food (Valid for this category)
Vehicles (Not allowed on this category)
Product Restrictions:
This coupon is valid for all products.
What? Why does it say, "This coupon is valid for all products"???? Clearly, it's not valid for ALL products. All FOOD products, yes, but not vehicle products.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Thanks!
