I would advise against posting your phone number on an open forum like this as ANYONE can get a hold of it.
The changes you want can easily be achieved, and Anne has done a wonderful job of documenting all of this in her readme documents.. There will be instructions on how to modify the various elements of the mega menu..

Hi,
I've been experimenting with this template, as I really like the look and would like to use it!
I've so far managed to customise it a little for what I need, but there is one thing I've not managed to do and I was hoping you could help me?
I would like to change the sidebar "Categories" menu so that different menu levels are different colours, to make it more obvious that a sub-menu is open.
I have a reasonable understanding of CSS, but I'm afraid I've looked at the stylesheet_mega_menu.css file (which I think is the one I need to change) until I'm crossed eyed and still can't seem to figure out what I need to change!
Can you help?
Best regards,
Rob.
