Default Attribute/Options update with Easy Populate

    Hi,
    I am using : Easy Populate 4.0.20 - Beta 5-20-2012

How can I create/Update attributes/Options with Easy Populate? (Can it create it or do I need to pre-create it and define the option ID)

My Attributes will not make any changes to the product price, just need to have it as a required option (ie. Color, Size)

I have 5000+ products that will need this, so manual update will be like a nightmare. And hopefully the update is possible in a single line.
    Thanks
    Robin

Post this in the support thread for EP4... I'm not sure if CHAD has developed the attributes side of things yet.

We use APSONA for product management these days. It handles attributes beautifully.

I did install it, but it seem too complicated and could never import. It gives me error about column "Option, Option Values, and Attribute ID"

There are some very good video tutorials at Apsona...

You may have misunderstood the need to have OPTION NAMES already existant in your database before you can use Apsona to load Option Values and assign them to products.

But we routinely use Apsona to load sites with hundreds of complex product options...

You might want to set up a TEST AREA (we do) in which you can play around learning these tools.

I have the options name that already exists in the database. Can I not use this to add new products with these options set? And when importing, its asking me for option ID and attribute ID.
    Thanks a lot.
