Creating an Order before receiving payment

I regularly have customers that start the order process and then get scared off by the paypal gateway because they don't have a paypal account (even though my checkout gives directions on how to pay with a CC as a guest). Because of this, I'm loosing some potential business. I try to check my customer list and find any customers that have registered but didn't complete an order and give them a call but I am blind to what they are interested in as well as not getting an email notification that they were trying to purchase something.

How can I create an order/invoice when the user confirms the order, before they pay. Yet not email them said invoice until they actually pay for it?

Try installing the Recover Cart Sales plugin. It will show you the cart of the customer before they abandoned it.

I have exactly the same problem so I call the customers too :)

Think it'd be good to add some Bank transfer informations at checkout page or other ways than paypal.
Here there are a lot of similar and even payment via mobile phone ...
