15 minute admin login time out

The 15 minute timeout is extremely annoying when configuring Zencart from new installation, changing logos,
writing text and other thing from outside of zencart, is there any way to override this timeout or extend
the time needed and be able to change it back when all the hard work is done.

Two possible options that I know of:
1. Before submitting your work open a new admin page in a separate tab, log-in if it's timed out and then submit.
2. swguy has posted a method to increase the time (be sure to read the PCI warning).
