The developers have updated our ZenCart, but is in staging. I'm noticing that there are lots of bullet points, dashes, extra spaces that in our original 1.3 ZenCart weren't a problem. Now I've a hundred hours of editing to do if we let this go as is. Is there a way to resolve this without re-editing?

It looks like you may have an issue with character sets and conversion between them (UTF-8, etc.). I can't help with fixing that, but that's the area I would investigate.
