Manually Changing Font Color In Sidebars/Getting Rid of Product Model in Header

I have two questions which I hope will be easy to solve.

First, is there a way to change the text color in my left and right sidebars to white without changing the black color in the middle? I played around with it a bit, but it seemed like I could go one way or the other with the center/right, but not both at once. Having the item count on the left side the same color as the text would also be really nice.

Second, how can I get rid of the product model in the header (blue bar at the very top of the page)? I already went into Product Types / Edit Layout, and specified that the Show Metatags Product Model should be 0, but that didn't do it.

Getting it very close to finished, barring adding the last 1500 items (minor detail there! LOL)...thanks very much for all your help!!

Check Admin Configuration - Product Info for the same setting.

You can add the rule Glenn offered anywhere in the stylesheet after any other rule with the same elements. I usually add stuff at the bottom.

I assume you mean the products name?
Why do you feel you need to remove it?

Configuration > Product Info > Meta Tags - Include Product Model in Title

(The "model number" seems to be mainly text, not numeric.)

No, the model number. http://www.annies-toy-chest.com/toy-...&products_id=3 It shouldn't be up on the header bar with the product name and website name.

Thank you, GJH42, that was exactly what I needed. :-D I thought I'd found it in the Product Types / Edit Layout, but that wasn't working, so I was baffled.
