Removing text from the footer

i downloaded a template from template monster.com and want to get rid of the text in the footer that says more bike shop zen cart templates at template monster.com

can anyone help me. tried used the firefox tools but cant find the physical text to delete. i'm new at this.

Commercial templates aren't supported here. You should ask Template Monster how to remove that text.

That said, you can use the Developers Tool Kit to search for part of that text to see where it's defined.

Did you search in the Developers Toolkit for bike shop? What did you find?

found nothing. it was in the tpl_footer.php under my includes/templates/"theme"/common but wasn't sure why it was only on the home page.

Open templates index file with a notepad++ or dreamviewer or any tool which one allows you to edit templates code, press ctr+f , find that text and remove it, save it and that's it.
