Admin Activity Log - 404 error

Hi all;

Have a question. When I log into my Admin, I have the below at the top of the page :

WARNING: The Admin Activity Log table has records over 2 months old and should be archived to conserve space

When I click on the reset button, I get a 404 error. I checked and the admin_activity.php file is in the database.
Can anyone let me know how to fix this please?

Still having this problem. Now have an extra warning :

WARNING: The Admin Activity Log table has over 50,000 records and should be archived to conserve space

Can anyone help? I am using version 1.5
