Hi,
I am having email problems with a host I have had for quite some time with the IP being blacklisted and lots of undeliverable emails. Tried to resolve it through them to no avail. I have gotten a new host with dedicated IP's for site AND email so in the process of migrating 13 sites and updating them to the current version in the process. Meanwhile, the domain we use for emails still needs to be moved to the new host to hopefully alleviate the undeliverable emails. I have another domain on the new host and was experimenting with an address from that domain to see if I can get it to work from the other (new) server and when testing from the Contact Us page I get:
Email Error: SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
I have also set up the address in my email client and it works fine for sending and receiving email, so the account and server work. I previously used PHP but the new server requires auth and port 2626
Settings:
Email Transport Method: smtpauth
Email Linefeeds: LF
Mime: False
Send Emails: true
All the other mail settings are as asked/provided by the host.
I have searched all over this forum for an answer and all of them seem to land all around this, but not this exact problem (that I could find).
Thanks for any assistance you may be able to provide, and thanks to the whole team for what I think is still the best cart on the net!
