Zen Cart will use the port setting shown in Admin->Configuration->Email Options->SMTP port
That's the only port it will use for SMTP email delivery. The port number will not be found in any "file". If it's updating, then you will see it on that screen.

If you're getting "Could not connect to SMTP host" errors, then that means Zen Cart is unable to make an SMTP connection using the SMTP host+port+username+password.
That could be a result of firewall issues on either server, errors in the settings you supplied, or restrictions imposed from within the SMTP server itself.

Thanks Doc! Does it make a difference if the new SMTP mailserver is SSL/TLS authentication?

It might. If you need TLS, then you'll have to do extra configuration to force that.

OK, so extra config on the ZenCart files or the mailserver? Not too familiar with TLS entries, my host is VERY helpful and any direction I could give them would help. They tried some configs last night scaped the log and got this:

    2012-07-19 20:27:57 [357341] TLS error on connection from [XX.247.69.XXX]:39688 I=[XXX.127.106.X]:465 (SSL_accept): error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol

I am assuming (I know what ###### U ME means, but used it the same) it's the cart that needs configs since the mailserver called and unknown protocol error? Again, any assistance is GREATLY appreciated. You guys are the best for support!
