    Default curl question - is this an actual error?

    Hello everyone!

    I apologize in advance for the postings you might have seen from me today. I am not trying to be a thorn in anyone's side. I have been reading through a lot of threads and trying to do my best to understand the various aspects of zen cart. I love Zen Cart so far, I'm just SO confused. I hope I'm not coming across as a ditz - but truth be told, I sure feel like one right now!

    Anyway, on to my question...

    First of all - NO I do NOT use Godaddy.

    I use Liquid Web. I don't know if that makes a difference.

    I see this when editing my PP express module in my ZC admin...

    Requirements:
    *CURL is used for bidirectional communication with the gateway, so must be active on your hosting server (if you need to use a CURL proxy, set the CURL proxy settings under Admin->Configuration->My Store.)


    Is this an actual error, or just a informational 'tip'?

    It's an informational message. A "tip" as you call it.

    And it's VERY rare to need a proxy. So, unless your host has told you you need one, then you don't. So ignore the part about a proxy.
