Customer Comments in order notification

I receive order confirmations when my customers place orders (as is intended), but I am wondering if comments the customer has added to their order show in these or not, or if I would need to check their order in my admin for comments. I don't get comments very often, but I don't want to miss them when they come through.

Have you placed a test order for yourself so that you can see what customers experience, and pass on comments to see how they arrive to you as well?

Ah, I didn't think to test a free order on my end. I unfortunately can't test paid ones due to my cards being tied to my only one and only Paypal account that's used for the shop. So I was hung up on that.

Okay, went in and tested a free download. The comments showed up in a pink strip between the list of products purchased, and the address information.

Glad you found what you were seeking.

It's always a good idea to test actual purchases from time to time, so that you understand what your customers are seeing, and to be sure the process is working correctly. Hence the suggestion ;)
