Full warehouse/inventory management?

Hi - new to the forum. We're thinking of moving off our current warehouse mgmt/inventory control/web store app to Zen Cart. I checked forum for info, but didnt find what I was looking for.

I wanted to know how I can find out more details on the warehouse management and order fulfillment processes? Does this system support full warehouse management, i.e., bin/location management, purchase orders, receiving, automatic replenishment triggers (e.g., safety stock, reorder level, etc.), physical inventory count process, stock transfers, etc?

Is this info available in the documentation?

What is the cost of all that would be needed to run warehouse, web orders, fulfillment/shipping, retail point-of-sale?

Short answer, no on almost everything you mentioned.

I have no idea what it would cost to add all those functions to Zencart, but it wouldn't be cheap.

Search the Web for things like zencart pos, zencart warehouse, zencart fulfillment for possible commercial solutions that work with Zencart.

Be wary of items on the web such as POS, etc. One POS touted for ZC works on an old, non-PCI compliant PHP version.
Unfortunately, many do not know enough to ask the right questions when searching. A good process is to start with the specs shown here. If the item(s) won't work with Zen Cart PHP, MySQL, and Apache versions; you would do yourself a favor by avoiding them.
