using my ftp in godaddy i am downloading my entire zencart folder to my comp. question i have is i did this yesterday and everything was a cache file so i deleted and am doing again today. is it suppose to be all cached if so how does that work when i try to upload to new host after doing a fresh install?
1. GoDaddy had a problem last week. To fix it, simply put the correct path in your configure.php file. You can get the correct path from your hosting control panel.
2. The "cache" folder holds temporary files. Unless you've got an addon that's storing important stuff there, nothing in that folder (other than the .htaccess and index.php file) is important and can be ignored from your backups, and safely deleted.
