waiting for download links?

hi all

a question, I dont understand

after a customer makes a purchase of an e-product(downloadable), how long do they need to wait for the dl link?

do they infact get sent a dl link?
or is that up to me to send them?

I did a test purchase from my shop, all went smoothly, but no link to download has been sent.

If the product is properly configured, then the link is available immediately if payment is actually received and acknowledged to the store.

And what if the payment is confirmed and is received by Paypal and totally works when the product is free?

I have spent days trying to figure out why my new shop's site wouldn't process with Paypal express and found late yesterday that thread for the code fix finally. So now Zen communicates properly with Paypal and I don't get that Blank address Problem anymore… thank you, but don't understand why this one little line couldn't have been added months ago to the last version. Sorry… been a really really rough last few days with only 4 days left for Grand Opening now.

So now…. I am dealing with after a purchase the download links do not appear for the customer… have checked and rechecked everything. tested as free, worked. Tested as group 100% discount, worked. Tested with 100% coupon, worked… just not when an actual paypal purchase is made. Could it be that there is an additional coding bug I haven't found yet for the communication between Paypal and Zen?

Please help me! I'm ready to start crying in my Jack Daniels here. lol
