I can login to the admin section??

Hi there,

Im sorry to be vague. but I really dont know much about this. i had my website designed a few years ago and havent logged into the admin side for years. I decided to update it so need to log in. I tried to go to my website.co.uk/admin but it didnt work. it just times out. after reading a bit on here i tried my website.co.uk/admin/index.php and still it doesnt do anything. just times out. im sorry but i also dont know what version i have.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how i can try to fix this?

First thing you need to do is use your FTP program to look at the folders on the server and see if your admin folder is actually named 'admin'. If not, navigate to whatever it is called and try again. If your store hasn't been updated for years, there's a good chance you've been hacked.

emailed my webhosts and they replied this...

It seems in your configuration of zencart during zencart installation you had enabled ssl access, hence the certifcate error is being displayed for the domain, please check with zencart if this autodirection to https can be disabled

anyone know what i should tell them?
