    red flag Getting Started

I am new to Zen Cart and so far I have been able to figure it out pretty well. One question I have that is sure to lead to more questions from me is: when I get a SSL for my site, does it secure the whole site or just the payment process? My site (www.fancyinfrills.com) work with the http prefix, but when opened with the https prefix, nothing on the site loads up. Pleas check out my site to see to what I am referring to. It is currently just the default Zen Cart page until I get the SSL issue resolved. Also is there a way I can direct customers to my secure site by just typing fancyinfrills.com instead of having to type https? Right now it takes them to the unsecured website. Thanks in advance!

You only really need to secure the payment pages, account pages and of course your admin area.
Have you edited your includes/configure.php & YOURadmin/includes/configure.php files to allow SSL? That's assuming you didn't setup the SSL when you first created/installed your site.

Also your httpS pages won't display until you have a SSL, as technically you don't have any htpps pages yet.

When you enable SSL for your store, Zen Cart automatically uses your HTTPS_SERVER (e.g. https://www.yourstore.com) for pages associated with creating accounts, logging in, checkout (from start to finish) and your customers' account-related information. It doesn't use SSL to secure your various product listing pages or any of the "general" information pages (e.g. contact_us and privacy) because there's nothing to secure on those pages.
