Can i hide categories even when i upload new csv file?

Hi all.
I will be updating my products almost every other day. In my excel there are some categories that i am not going to use in my store but to delete them from the CSV file every time will take lots of time instead of just download and upload to my store.
So I was wondering how can i maybe disable this categories in my store and the next time im uploading and updating my products the disabled categories saty disabled and not show in my store?
IM using easy_populate_csv_for_zencart_v1.5
Any ideas will be great.

As far as I am aware, you cannot specify CATEGORIES as "disabled" using easy Populate. You can only specify PRODUCTS as "disabled", bys assigning a value of 0 to the STATUS field.

But you would be added a huge amount of data to the database unnecessarily. It is MUCH EASIER to get the product data in order on the spreadsheet FIRST. Use the data sorting and manipulation tools in your spreadsheet program before you load your final file.
