Zone Rates - calculate shipping by total weight not per product

Hi

I have zone rates set up for UK (GB) as follows:


750:3.50,1000:4.50,1250:6.50,1500:7.00,1750:8.00,2000:9.20,4000:12.00


Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:0
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 0:0

So, if i order 1 of product x and product x is 50 grams, it costs £3.50, which is correct according to rates above, e.g. anything under and up to 750 grams is £3.50.

However, if I order 2 of product x the shipping goes up to £7.50, and also if i order 3 it goes up to £10.50 - clearly shipping is being charged per order/weight, not totalling weight and then charging as per shipping settings above.

If shipping weight was being totalled and charged as per settings above 2 orders of x would still cost 3.50 as 2 x 50 grams is 100 grams which is within first setting of up to 750 grams.

I may be missing a setting, or does zone rates not work like this?

Go to the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... and change the Maximum Weight to 5000 so that the weight is not broken up in groups of 50 ...
