Define Pages editor adds 4 or 5 blank lines every time I save

Are you using the HTML editor, or pasting copy into that page from another program, or ...?

I originally pasted copied code from Front Page 2003 into the html editor. Then when I use the Define Pages Editor from the Admin, it adds 4 or 5 blank lines to the beginning.
