Flash video

I have searched for an answer and cannot find one that fits really. I am attempting to use define pages editor using ckeditor mod that we installed that has been working quote well on everything else. I have built a video and converted it to FLV format. then I uploaded the FLV video file to my root directory. I then attempted to embed the video into the main page script using the WYSWYG editor we have installed. While I can embed the video via youtube imbedding code and it works fine, using the FLV video file with the correct path to the root directory in the flashplayer popup url designator, the video space is all that shows up on the main page. No video, nothing.

My question is, how in the world will I be able to install a video on the main page of the site? Where should I upload the video on my server to make it work? I do NOT want to use youtube because the video will not loop or autostart and I also do not want a big listing of other videos to choose from showing up if the video does end.

The code below is what I get when attempting to load it from my root directory without setting any parameters other than the width and height.
