I'm trying to open my category on my homepage but I couldn't do that although I strictly followed the instraction on this forum.. So admin panel I went to layout settings >>Main Page - Opens with Category = 1 but then I get on a blank page in the middle of my homepage : There are no products to list in this category. although I have enough products to display ! but if I set it to 0, I will have slide banner back in the middle and only the top level images of my categories! Any ideas how to fix that ?

Do you have a category with the ID number of 1 ? That's what you're asking Zencart to display.

Well, I have Entered 71 in that field instade of 0 or 1 and now I have a column of my product in there but why my slidshow banner is gone now ?
