I tried to start over and did Zone Definitions and added each state. then did details and insert and added Country (USA) and zone the state I am collecting...Then I added the Tax Rate per state... Now I hope this fixes it.. Is that the correct way to do it?

Why are you collecting tax in all of those states?

Do you have a physical store/nexus in each of these states?

I ask, because your CO tax rate is wrong and I will bet your CA tax rate is wrong too.

Limitless is asking very valid questions. Don't set up tax rates for states in which you are not specifically registered to collect taxes. Then again, your Tax Advisor is the one whose advice you should follow there. Any suggestions you get from us about how much tax to charge to whom should be considered only suggestions and not official legal or professional advice.

Anyway, the FAQ article on how to set up taxes, once you know which taxes you need to charge, is here: http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?...gure-the-taxes (found by searching the FAQs for the word "taxes").
