Automatically display sub-categories in left menu

Hi,

Not very advanced with Zen Cart so am wondering if/how I could change settings to show the first level of sub-categories below the top menu item. For example, if the main category is Men Clothes and the sub-categories are Jeans, Shirts, Outerwear, etc. I want the left menu to show all of them by default.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You can use Categories Dressing from Plugins, with the Uncollapsed Category Tree option and a setting for active/level control depending on how you want to display the lower active subcats.
