    help question Cart doesn't work after Template Monster installed my template

    Hej guys,

    I've got a Problem with the functionality of my cart:

    I freshly installed the ZenCart engine without any Problems. The Support of Template-Monster installed a template I bought.
    Everything looks good and works fine BUT when I want to put a product into the cart, the task ist forwarded to "Page not found" ...

    Do you have an idea what the problem might be?

    The problem is almost certainly the fact that you bought a template from Template Monster. Check to make sure by switching temporarily to the Classic template and see if the problem goes away. If so, contact Template Monster, or post a link to the site and we'll see what we can do.

    First, we need to see your site to understand exactly where it is failing.
    What happens if you switch to the Classic template in admin > Tools > Template Selector?

    thanks for your very fast answers! Wow!

    The URL ist http://hundvoneden.de/shop/ ---> try to put something into the cart.

    The guys from Templatemonster deleted the Classic Template, so that I can't switch.
    Is it possible to re-install die Classic Template?

    That is even stupider than their usual template creation practices... the Classic template is an important diagnostic tool for comparing custom functionality with stock, and showing you where new custom template files should go. They seem to have intentionally crippled you.

    Yes, you can replace all /classic/ folders and their contents from a fresh download of Zen Cart.

    Ahhhh ... wait, the Classic Contemporary Green template ist still there, I activate it, but the problem is the same ...

    Any ideas?

    The template looks nice but you're right: add to cart goes to a page not found in IE9 and Chrome.

    Regarding the problem with the Classic template, did your TM template override any core files? Or did your template come self-contained in its own structure?

    my website also using a template of monster,
    just now i have take a look at your website,after click "add to cart" ,the page didnot forward but still stay at product detail page.
    if this was your problem now,the solution would be the following:

    backend- configuration-my store-Display Cart After Adding Product set it's value to true.
    focus on the open source for online shoping website.
