add extra back button on mainpages

Hello Zenners,

I would like to add a back button on my main page shop. I know there is a navigation row at the top wich says were you are and how to get back. My customer wants a clear back button at the topright of the main page and categorie pages. Any ideas, I can't seem to find how to do this?

First, where do you see a Back button on the main page linking to ?

Just back to the last page visited in the shop

B=what customer wants as extra button (please don't ask why, i've tried her to rethink, but no, she wants that button!)

I guess you could add the code from one of the pages that already has a back button (Contact Us, for example) to define_main_page.php. It looks like this: <div class="buttonRow back"><?php echo zen_back_link() . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_BACK, BUTTON_BACK_ALT) . '</a>'; ?></div>

So what she wants is essentially the browser's back button permanently in the corner of the website. And she doesn't think her customers are going to be able or willing to use the browser button...

I think you would want to add that code to tpl_header.php.

Yep, she herself is a digital disaster so she thinks everybody is like her (plain stupid) so she wants that button.....I know, I know, she doesn't take her websitevisitors serious

I wil give it a try in the header then it will be there all the time, no matter where you are on the site. Thanks, and I will keep you informed of the result
