    Default Website Upgrade help needed

I just had an optimization website review to find out my websites Zen 1.2.7 version from 2003 needs to be updated to 1.50.

During this review, i was informed my current set up is totally incorrect and has no sitemap installed from my previous site builder so i am only 55% rated and losing business daily.

Can anyone suggest a "Reputable" and "Reasonable" (magic words today) website upgrade source for someone not in the know on website operation?

Also, has anyone had experiance with: http://pro-webs.net/

    Thanks for helping

Things have changed *so much* since 1.2 that this might not be worth it. I'd suggest grabbing a copy of 1.5, finding a template you like, and just copying your language files over. Run the db upgrade procedure and start from that.

Right. Identify the things you customized, and simply redo whichever of those you still need when you rebuild your site on the new version: http://www.zen-cart.com/entry.php?3-...d-of-upgrading

    1) I have no experience with Pro-Webs, but Melanie who runs it is often on here helping people and has quite a list of zencart plugins to her name
    2) Will your current host be able to run zencart 1.5 as it requires php 5.3, and zencart 1.2 (which you have ) doesn't run on that I believe
    3) Apart from Image handler(a very old version which doesn't work with modern browsers) and zenlightbox do you know what other plugins you have?
    4) The sitemap is not a core feature of zencart, there is a very good plugin for zencart, make sure you let the developer know you want that working
