Re: Yorkshire Clean Template Support Thread

Very nice! Very much like what I was going to try turning Hampshire Cammie into when I got the time, but you've just pretty much done it.

I like your footer area. But having to expand to see the customer service area...I wonder if customers will overlook that? But with the info also in the header drop-down, maybe not a big deal.

Nice job!

Lol ;-) Holiday, what's that? I did debate about making the template with the expandable footer, but in the end decided that there had been enough requests for this functionality that it was worth doing a release ;-) It's the kind of thing that some people will love and some will hate. But the ones who don't like it can use one of the other templates ;-)

Thanks,

Anne

Thank you ;-) All of the footer links are replicated in other parts of the template like the header menu or can be turned on in the sideboxes so I didn't think there was a great danger to have them as expandable.

Anne

If you want to use a language other than english, you will need to copy the files in the english directory to your new language.

Thanks,

Anne

Thank you for your answer,

You mean I can install the theme yorkshire and copy files to the Spanish and translated stay.

"I have already installed the basic Zen Cart with translation into Spanish".

No, I said:

These are the template files and not

Re: Yorkshire Clean Template Support Thread

Hi Anne,

We normally leave "display parse time" (which appears in the footer) turned on. Is there a magic switch to enable it in the Yorkshire Clean template?

You don't have to do anything. I just turned it on in the demo here:

http://www.picaflor-azul.com/free-demos/index.php?main_page=index&template_switch_id=yorkshire_clean

It is showing above the footer banner.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Yorkshire Clean Template Support Thread

Normally, we don't use footer banners. If I turn a banner on, the parse time data is there. With no banner, the data is in the page source but not displayed.

Don't loose sleep over the issue. I'm not.

Re: Yorkshire Clean Template Support Thread

Work-around = create a new banner.

name it . (that's a single period)
create an image 1px by 1 px and use that image in the banner

Thanks for posting this. I am still working on the fix for this ;-)

Re: Yorkshire Clean Template Support Thread

Hi Anne,
I LOVE Yorkshire Clean and you did a fantastic job on this. Thank you!

I am having an issue with the sticky footer. It is no longer centered and I just can't figure out where to adjust it. Attachment 11227

If you could so kindly take a look at this, I'd appreciate it very much.

I would recommend back tracking a bit and taking a look at any changes you made to the stylesheet_footer.css, stylesheet_toggle.css, tpl_footer.php

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Yorkshire Clean Template Support Thread

Very beautiful template, as all of yours are. ;) I want to remove "Brands" from the mega-header-menu. Piece of cake to do that. How can I get the "Service" link to open with a smaller box? If I remove Brands, then the drop-down extends beyond website borders. Sorry if I missed it somewhere but don't see the fix on stylesheet_mega_menu.css. Please point me in the right direction.

Yes, you will need to make your changes to the stylesheet_mega_menu.css file. If you post a link to your site I can point you in the right direction.

Thanks,

Anne
