Removing banner from preston elite template has messed up page layout a tad

The template I am using (preston elite) had a huge banner at the top of the page. I removed it because it was the one thing I didn't like about the template. But now I have a left column and a right column that begin too far down the page. I'm worried this is something I can't fix? The New/Featured/Specials is at the top of the page in more or less the right position. Any help offered would be appreciated!

I haven't finished the logo etc, the large horizontal banner was under that, basically where the empty space now sits

Your whole page is inside the headerWrapper div, which is causing your problem. How exactly did you remove the huge banner ?

The banner was removed via Banner Manager, along with the other annoying banners that came with the template.
