    Default Banner problem

    Hi everyone!

My problem would be that if i click on a banner , for example bangles - it doesnt take me to category bangles. It is written sorry no product....though there are products.

Could anyone tell me how to set the banners so that the ring goes to category ring , and so on....

I'm quite new to this costumization and bran new to being a website owner!

    Thanks in advance!

    Nandor

When you create your banner, set the Banner URL to the URL of the category you want to link to. For example, if you want to link to the category with the id of 1, place this in the Banner URL box: index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

    this is a banner url : index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=38

should it look like this: index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=38

    or this: index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1

Tried both but didnt get me to the category. maybe i did or rather didnt do something else?

The first URL you mentioned is to a product, not a category. The URL I provided will take the browser to the category with the id of 1 when the banner image is clicked. When you entered index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1 into the Banner URL box, where did the browser go when you clicked on the banner ? A link to your site might help, too.

Sorry, I misunderstood. THe word 'banner' has a specific meaning with Zencart - it refers to the built-in advertising blocks you can create in Banner Manager. It looks like you're talking about the images in your slider, which I assume was included with your Template Monster template. I haven't used it, and I don't know why it isn't directing properly, You might ask TM.
