Default Long Pause Before Pages Load

For some reason, the past few days my site has been taking very long to load. I am not sure what is going on or what to do. I have tried to optimize my database per GoDaddy's recommendation, but that hasnt helped me. It's not only my zencart website that takes forever to load, but the admin side of my site does the same thing. I dont think its a server issue because my wordpress blog on my site works just fine. Can someone help me please?

Try enabling parse time display in Admin - Configuration - Logging, then:

    http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?...s-numbers-mean

Okay i did that, and when i load my home page, it gives me this:

    Parse Time: 5.865 - Number of Queries: 125 - Query Time: 3.4699792272491

I have no clue what this means. Am I having a server issue, or is there an issue within my site? Its so strange because i haven't really changed anything in the code, and I started having this issue all of a sudden.

The explanation for parse times can be found here:
    https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...s-numbers-mean

Parse times aside - the whole pause-before-executing is the symptom i was having with my host for the 3-4 months before they admitted their shared server was over-shared. My blog seemed faster because it wasn't executing the ginormous number of queries that my store was. It was worse during peak times when my neighbor was sending out his ############ emails or streaming his XXX videos but mysteriously cleared up after they moved me to a less stressed out server. You might try pestering them to look and see what all they've crammed in there with you.

Edit: I like how I can say XXX videos but can't say Vigh-Agh-Ruh! (####### emails).

LOL! Okay thanks. I read about the parse times but i'm not very good with understanding some of these things.

If it is a server issue I wonder if switching from Linux to Windows server at Godaddy will help me? Im so over GoDaddy and all of their issues :-(

Switching to a Windows server may well make things worse. My advice would be to follow joejoejoe's lead and demand that GoDaddy move you to a less-crowded server.
