    Default Email problem.

    When somebody emails me using the contact form on my website I am receiving the following message. It also goes directly into my spam box.

    Can anyone help me please?

    Its not spam because I sent that message.
    Notice in the middle it says "Test Test Test" that is me. Its just not sending normal messages. Hence this post.

    check the spam settings in your email program or the host through which the mail is received.

    Try having someone who is not on your network send you the same email. I had an ISP a while back who would not let me send me messages to myself - they were sure I was spamming my own inbox or something. I had my store email set to auto-forward to my home email so the result was if I tried to send my store a message from home as a test I'd get a bunch of "denied, deleted, drop-dead" emails from them instead.

    @Design75 Its a gmail account whether that makes any difference, I have "Marked this email not spam" using gmail- which makes no difference, they still go to spam folder.

    @joejoejoe I will ask my friends to try.

    Thanks for your input everyone, any further suggestions are most welcomed.

    ALL SORTED. Gmail accounts do not work with my hosting account.

    It's a little surprising that a host would generically block incoming messages from gmail "just because it's gmail".

    That said, the "administratively denied" message comes from your hosting company's server configuration.
