Can I exclude non-subscribers from a newsletter email?

We want to try the Email Send mass mailing function in Zen-Cart since there aren't that many customers yet. Is there a way to remove email addresses from the email send since some customers do not want to receive them? I couldn't find this. Or is this not possible? Many thanks for your help.

Not exactly sure what you're asking. If you go to Admin - Tools - Send Email and open the Customer: dropdown, one option should be All Newsletter Subscribers

Thank you for response Steve. I know the 'all customers' option but I need to 'exclude' a bunch of email addresses from the 'all customers' list since some have chosen not to receive my mass emails. Can I edit this list and where? Thanks again.

No no.. I don't mean the newsletter even though it says it in the heading.. that must have been changed. I am talking about the 'Send Email' module.. that was my original heading.. mmhh... anyhow... under 'Send Email' I get a few choices, among which is 'All customers'... I need to exclude some from that list since they don't want to receive my mass mails. How can I accomplish that?

P.S. that heading got totally changed. There was no mention of 'Newsletter' in my original heading. Instead it said something like 'Email Send' or so and how to exclude email addresses... thank you everyone for your help on this. Appreciate it.

Now that I'm thoroughly confused , I think it was probably changed because the moderator couldn't think of a way your customers could express their desire for not receiving your mass emails except by opting out from your newsletter. I can't either. It sounds like it might make more sense if you used the newsletter function for your 'mass emails' If I'm still not getting it, let me know.

At any rate, I don't think there is any built-in way to remove specific customers from the All Customers option.

Thanks for your help Steve. I don't believe we can filter out 'some emails' from 'All Customers' in an easy way... unless someone has a way to accomplish this.
