Default Problems with sqlpatch.php after upgrading to v151

I just upgraded my site from v150 to v151 - using the simple upgrade instructions (ie I used FTP to copy the updated files into my store overwriting the existing files). Everything seems to be working well except when I click on Tools - Install SQL Patches I get a 403 Error message telling me I don't have permission to access the file. I've tried altering the permissions of the file and the admin folder but I can't get rid of the message. I'm presuming that it is another file that is causing this problem but I've no idea where to look. I reverted back to the original sqlpatch.php file but that too now gives me the error message whereas it was working before. Anyone any ideas what I can do or where I can look for a solution? Thanks.

How are you changing the permissions? Sometimes if you try to do it through the ftp program it just looks like it's doing it, but when you close the ftp it flushes your changes. Have you tried going in through the file manager on your cpanel and changing the permissions there?

It's probably unrelated to your Zen Cart version.

Instead, it's almost certainly something your hosting company has done with mod_security (either intentionally or thru an automatic update) which has flagged that particular filename as risky (based only on VERY OLD Zen Cart versions that used to be hackable and hackers used that file for some exploitation attacks). Get them to remove that rule from mod_security for your site.

Thanks, joejoejoe and DrByte. I tried both suggestions. It turned out the problem was with mod_security and my hosting company removed the rule and I'm back in business again. I really appreciate you input - I couldn't have done this without you as I didn't know where to start to look for a solution. You guys rock. Thanks again.
