Shipping weight wrong??

My client ships his products at $45.00 per 40b box. One item on their site is a 5 pack of Butterfly koi which I've calculated to weigh approximately 2 lbs. I've set up table rate to include this at 40:45,80:90,120:135:160:180,200:225

When I tested the module and the item he weight came up as 5 lbs and not 2 lbs, what happened?

The product category is Koi Fish with the sub-category being Butterfly koi and the item is 005 pack...

In admin if I edit the produt it states thew weight for the 5 pack is 2 lbs but when I am selecting shipping it shows 5 lbs

I am confused as to what is going on?

Check your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... it sounds like you still have Tare Rates set and these shoube set to 0:0 ...


Also check your Maximum Weight is set to 5000 to work with your tables ...

NOTE: if you really want weight split at 200lbs, then you can have Maximum Weight set to 200 ...

Thanks Ajeh, I'll check the shipping configuration. As far as my table goes, I just entered those until I find out what my cient's weight limit will be and adjust the table accordingly and I wi also take into consideration your max weight suggestions as wel.
