Seperate product email notifications

I am running v1.3.8a on a site. Is it possible to send the same order confirmation e-mail to 2 different addresses that could be based upon the product category?

We only have 2 categories (classes and events). It would be great if we can send one order confirmation e-mail for all products sold under this category of "classes" to one e-mail address, and the be able to send all order confirmation of the other category "events" to another e-mail address.

Can not select as it is all or none

BTW: if you are using 1.3.8a you really need to upgrade due to known vulnerabilities

With more modern versions of Zen Cart, it's easy to write plugins to do what you're talking about. Several are discussed around the forums, including:

Those concepts could be easily adapted to do a simple lookup on the product number, and send out the required additional notifications.
Of course, you'll need to upgrade to a suitable version of Zen Cart ... which you should be doing anyway.
