    help question Back end LOGIN

    Hi Peeps

I installed my Zencart on a local server and after following the instructions of a youtube video i can now see my site locally.... but cannot seem to find the way to get into the backend.I have installed the Zencart on a wamp sever and did not create a Zencart folder. This would be a test server for me to play around with and learn. So e.g when i type in localhost my site comes up immediatly. I dont mind redoing all this as every bit of Zencart work i do is a learning curve. Any clear instruction will be welcomed thanks in advance

I have loaded Zen Cart via Native Space and I can view the front end site from my browser but can't get to the admin page etc. I have followed instructions - http://www.mysite/zencart/admin/index.php and also http://www.mysite/admin/index.php and /admin but error message of 'the requested URL was not found on this server' appears. What am I doing wrong??

When you install zencart you are required to rename the /admin/ folder, therefore the URL you need to use is http://yourdomain.com/renamedAdmin/

I don't know what Native Space is, but if it's your host, and they use an auto-installer, it may automatically rename your admin folder. Use your FTP program to look at your server folders to see what they named it to.
