Looking for a product filter that does not need attributes!!

Hello,

Is there a filter for my products that does not use the attribute feature. I have installed the dynamic filter but released it works by the attributes. Is there a way to either make this filter some other way or is there another filter add-on Im not seeing that will filter products by other means.

Please let me know thank you very much for your help!!

Not sure what you're asking. From the documentation for the Dynamic Filter mod: "The module allows you among other things, to control which pages the filter appears on, the filter style (links, checkboxes or dropdowns) and also allows you to include or exclude attributes."

Ok so you can set-up the dynamic filter to work without including attributes as the way to filter it allows you to filter by other means then. If so how I can't seem to find it. I only seem to be able to use it to filter products by attributes I use.
